FT50 Vibronic Level Switch

The FT50 Vibronic Level Switch is designed for accurate high-level and low-level detection in tanks and vessels. It helps prevent tank overfilling, dry running, and empty tank conditions by detecting the interface between air and liquid through advanced vibronic resonance technology.
Using inline density measurement, the FT50 identifies changes in media density and provides a reliable output signal or alarm when the liquid level reaches the preset switching point.

How It Works

The FT50 operates on the principle of vibronic resonance. Its vibrating fork sensor oscillates at a specific frequency in air. When the fork comes into contact with a liquid, the vibration frequency changes due to the difference in density between air and the liquid medium.
The device continuously monitors this frequency change and accurately detects the liquid-air interface, triggering an alarm or switching output for process control and safety applications.
