The UCI-108 Universal Communication Interface is the industry's most versatile solution for integrating host systems with field instruments across the Honeywell-Enraf® Bi-Phase Mark (BPM) fieldbus network. Designed for tank gauging and terminal automation applications, the UCI-108 enhances BPM fieldbus utilization while reducing the need for multiple dedicated communication devices.
Its scalable architecture allows multiple UCI-108 units to be combined into a Multi-Node configuration, enabling advanced networking capabilities, greater flexibility, and seamless system expansion.

The UCI-108 is a multipurpose communication gateway for the Honeywell-Enraf GPU/FlexConn protocol, one of the world's most widely deployed fieldbus standards in tank gauging systems.
It efficiently converts serial RS232/RS485 GPU/FlexConn communication messages to BPM fieldbus communication and vice versa. By combining multiple UCI-108 units, users can create scalable communication architectures tailored to complex operational requirements.
Integrated front-panel LED indicators provide real-time diagnostic information, including communication activity and BPM signal quality, ensuring easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
